Counselling is a helping profession in which a trained therapist works with an individual, group, or family in order to sort through types of psychological suffering and offer treatment. 

One may wonder how does counselling help people; the following is a list of the benefits counselling offers:

Overall, counselling acts as a conduit for self-help and improvement. It provides a base for individuals to center themselves and develop strategies to independently cope with problems and become self-aware.

I recommend that individuals and couples get help as soon as things seem difficult, because waiting may exacerbate difficulties. It is incredibly difficult to break a habit. On average, it takes 21 days to break a habit so the earlier that therapy can intervene, the better.

Relationship counselling focuses on analyzing and solving conflicts that arise in a relationship. Depending on the type of problems a couple has, I adapt the treatment and the frequency of sessions to find the best solution for the relationship.
